About the Opportunity

Due to local and international expansion, an unique and career-defining opportunity exists for an experienced Technical Development Co-Ordinator to work in China.

This is a 12 month contract position, with the potential to be renewed. This contract includes 3 months training in the Sydney facility before commencement in the China facility. 

The main aim of this varied role is to liaise with dedicated teams in both the Australian manufacturing office and the Chinese based manufacturing facility on technical, production and logistical elements of signage projects so that all projects are delivered efficiently and on time. More specifically this will include: 

  • Assisting in the technical, production and logistical developments of signage projects; 
  • Analyzing technical drawings and assisting in design methods for production; and
  • Working with various teams to develop and improve plans to suit each individual project. 
The organisation is seeking a great communicator, with relevant trade qualifications, who can lead by example. 

A minimum five years experience within, or aligned to, the signage industry is preferred, ideally in the capacity of production, project management and/or design. A thorough knowledge of manufacturing processes, metal, plastics, carpentry, paint and vinyl is essential. 

The successful candidate will be able to speak both English and Chinese (Mandarin) fluently.
